People call him The Amazin’ Walter.  He is a Master Sand sculptor traveling the world building sandcastles as well as spreading the word (UNLITTER!) Amazin’ as his friends call him also makes jewelry, works in clay and carves antler, bone, wood and other materials. He plays Ukulele and Harmonica with “The Happy Band”.  Seasonally Amazin’ teaches sandcastle lessons and creates balloon sculpture on the patio at Blackbeards’ on South Padre Island, Tx. He is the Grand Poobah of the Sons of the Beach, a not profitable disorganization dedicated to Having Fun! Helping others Have Fun! and Unlittering. Amazin’ Walter, himself!

Walter is from South Padre Island, TX and has been sculpting sand since 1978.
