Sculpting sand, snow and pumpkins for the past 30 years, Bruce has won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes in countless events (too many to list!). His start in sand sculpting was inspired by the last White Rock Sea Festival (British Columbia, Canada) in 1987. Bruce searched the library archives for the cable TV show that featured the event and with an “I can do that” attitude he took a shovel and a piece of driftwood to the beach to try his hand at the art. The resulting sculpture of a frog made the front page of the local newspaper and he was hooked! As a contractor for Langley B.C., Bruce undertakes beautiful renovations for his clients but always returns to his “hobby blown out of proportion” in his free time.
Bruce is from Langley, British Columbia
