Sandi “Castle” Stirling has been sculpting sand since 1995. For more than a decade now, she has competed at the Master level both in Canada and the USA. She has competed in Port Huron MI, SPI TX, Ft. Myers Beach FL, Revere Beach MA, Parksville BC, CNE Toronto ON, Bronte ON and Sauble Beach ON. Her latest claim to fame is People’s Choice in the Doubles with Amazin’ Walter at the 28^th Annual American Sand Sculpting Competition in Ft. Myers in 2015. She also took People’s Choice at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, ON and at the Bronte Sand Fest. During the Revere Beach Sand Sculpting competition, Sandi teaches the “Master in the Making” workshops to young artists. She is also an “Artist in the Classroom” in her home province where she teaches Grade 4 students sand sculpting.
