Make your plans this November to experience the American Sandsculpting Championships on beautiful Fort Myers Beach. For 10 days some of the world’s most renowned sand sculptors will compete in a series of competitions for the chance to be crowned American Champion. This year is shaping up to be the most exciting yet with over 30 sculptors involved representing 8 nations. This includes 16 Masters competing in solos, 10 Masters competing in doubles, 10 advanced amateurs competing in the Florida State Championships, and nearly 50 sculptures, making this the largest Sand Sculpting event of its kind in the United States!

But the fun doesn’t stop there… The event also features a wide variety of activities for all ages including over 40 arts & crafts vendors, amateur sand competition, sculpting demos & quick sand competitions, live music, kids activities, photo opportunities, people’s choice, and more! But a day on the beach wouldn’t be complete without good food and refreshing beverages from our concession areas.

Also new this year is a once in a lifetime opportunity to view these beautiful works of art illuminated under the night sky with “Sand Under the Stars.” For one night only we will open the gates to the public from 6-9pm on the last Saturday of the event, and showcase a more “colorful” perspective of the sculptures. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10.
